Polytrauma Rehabilitation Centers

Polytrauma Rehabilitation Centers (PRCs) provide acute, comprehensive, inpatient rehabilitation. They maintain a full team of dedicated rehabilitation professionals and consultants from other specialties related to polytrauma. The Centers serve as consultants to other facilities in the Polytrauma System of Care.

The PRC interdisciplinary teams include:

  • Physiatrist (rehabilitation doctor)
  • Social Work Case Manager
  • Nurse Case Manager
  • Physical Therapist
  • Occupational Therapist
  • Recreation Therapist
  • Rehabilitation Nursing
  • Speech and Language Pathologist
  • Rehabilitation Psychologist
  • Neuropsychologist
  • Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor
  • Active Duty Military Liaison
  • Blind Rehabilitation Specialist
  • Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist
  • Chaplain
  • Other consultative services as needed (e.g., Neuro-ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Nutrition, Neurology, Psychiatry, Audiology, Surgery)
